About NJOAD

The New Journal of Academical Diarrhea

Where good intentions go to be published.

Welcome to the beating heart, throbbing brain and slightly irritated intestines of NJOAD, the world’s first and only journal proudly dedicated to the publication of academic waste products.

NJOAD was founded on a simple question:
If bad research can be produced so easily, why is it still so hard to publish?

Traditional journals insist on “rigor,” “methodology,” and “logic.”
We at NJOAD find these expectations limiting, elitist and frankly rude.

What We Publish

Our broad and inclusive scope spans every discipline known to mankind, including:

● Studies with sample sizes so small they qualify as anecdotes
● Case reports of things that definitely did not happen
● Surveys created in five minutes on Google Forms
● Systematic reviews written systematically in one afternoon
● Statistical analyses performed entirely in Microsoft Excel’s “AutoSum” function
● Papers where the abstract and conclusion have never met each other
● Experimental designs inspired by late-night existential crises

If your research makes no sense, goes nowhere, contradicts itself or raises more questions than humanity can answer, you’re already halfway to acceptance.

Our Editorial Board

Our prestigious editorial board features professionals from all over the world who have generously donated their names without reading the fine print. Some are real. Most are not.

Their motto: “If it looks like a paper, it is a paper.”

Why NJOAD Matters

Because academia is full of people trying their best in a system that only rewards perfection, polish and p-values under 0.05.

NJOAD is a sanctuary for the other kind of researcher.
The tired kind.

The one who hates research but was forced by his professor to publish something
The chaotic kind.
The kind who just wants their work to live somewhere, even if that “somewhere” is a satirical journal proudly named after gastrointestinal distress.

Here, you are seen.
You are valued.
You are published.

In Conclusion

NJOAD exists because not all science changes the world.
Some science merely changes your mood.
Some science belongs here, and nowhere else.

Welcome to the journal that asks for nothing, accepts everything, and celebrates the beautiful mess of human curiosity.

Welcome to the New Journal of Academical Diarrhea.
Where we publish your rubbish.
